Another tale of problems facing landlords of successful pubs.
The Guardian reports on the eviction of the landlady of the Alma pub in north London which had been hailed as CAMRA north London’s cider pub of the year.
The question is what constitutes a “failing” pub? For many pubcos it’s those that don’t bring in as much profit as they would like regardless of them being at the heart of a local community. This is where more & more local people are turning to getting them registered as an Asset Of Community Value in an attempt to retain them
